First off, I think you need a Jawbone Death update. This story is deep in my heart and I cannot wait to hand it to you. Check out the colored wrap cover by Mike Spicer. I love what he does. Jason has completed the first 26-pages of the book (issue one) and I am just waiting on him to do some scans and adjustments and then I will be launching a campaign for the first issue in the story. You folks will have a secret perk that gets you an exclusive digital collectible and a patch (back to the boy scouts baby, like back when they uncovered the Cross of Coronado). The first issue will get into your hands BEFORE any publisher or anyone else gets their grubby mitts on it.
THE WAR AGAINST REVENANTS RETURNS
I am teaming up again with my Kids & Monsters artist, Maxi Dall'o and colorist Mike Spicer to bring you a gripping tale of terror and redemption. Revenants (evil spirits back from the dead bent on revenge i.e. Slashers) have begun to walk the earth and a mad preacher named st. George is gathering and army and taking a stand against them.
This is a new stand-alone story in the world of The Kill Journal (the original GN will be avail also at a screaming low price) that takes you back to the first Revenant hunt. It is a haunting, tragic, and triumphant tale of a boy who lost his father and a father who lost his son. Art is by Maxi Dall'o and colors by Mike Spicer. Book is 100% complete and will ship right after the campaign closes. The comic launches AUG 10th on Indiegogo!
Sign-Up for the pre-launch email list and get A FREE PATCH when you back.
The wrap cover on this one makes me so happy. It is going to be foil, another thing that makes me happy (though quite pricey to have printed). It will be signed and numbered (limit of 500), a true collector's gem.
It is about time we had a patch. A badge. A symbol of our rebellion against corporate stories. And this is it. You can get it on the campaign and if you get on the pre-launch list, you get it for free. People will then know you are not taking this “war” lightly.
Love these interior pages by Maxi. There is so much passion and emotion in them. You can see the feral animal that Finch, the young boy, truly is.
Stay rebellious!
