For everyone who backed the Psycho-Killers…. THANK YOU! You made that happen, and I cannot thank you all enough. It is a miraculous to create a story and have others read it. The books are already at my house and will be coming to you soon!
I have a secret to share. One that I have been keeping for a long time… I am going back to The Kill Journal for a 28-page one-shot. PRE-LAUNCH PAGE IS OPEN. It will be limited to 500 copies. Signed foil cover. A thing of beauty.
The is the complete Finch dossier. Only weeks after St. George lost his family to a Revenant (aka Slasher), a young boy who grew up fighting dogs in the shows up on his doorstep looking for food and revenge for the Revenant who killed his father. God said he would send St. George destroying angels to cleanse the world of Revenants… at least that is what he tells himself when he’s alone. Looks like God delivered his first one.
Finch is the first of the mad priest’s recruits and the tale focuses on just the two of them. It is a father and his replacement son on the hunt for a flame wielding Revenant. Every thing is new and uncertain. The story is intimate and fragile and dangerous, like any true Slasher tale should be. It is drawn by Maxi D’allo, who brings such emotion and depth to any story his pen touches, and colored by industry giant, Mike spicer (Murder Falcon, Do a Power Bomb).
If you don’t know the story of The Kill Journal, no worries. Here is a link to a one-minute trailer that fills you in. A softcover version of the original GN will be available on the campaign at a special reduced price.
Here is the cover reveal. You guys are seeing it first. Substack people are awesome. I will be running a campaign for this new 28-page one-shot the first week in August, and I have opened the pre-launch page. PLEASE SIGN-UP. It will be the only way to get the exclusive foil trading card and to make sure you get in before they are all gone.
The art is 100% complete, so I will be sharing some lettering process videos (and some interior art). As you know, I letter all my books. It connects me to my stories and words. Puts my hands on the creation.
Stay rebellious,
Adam
